Chinese Language Program
The Chinese Language Program (CLP) at CGU
is designed to help Chinese learners improve their
Chinese proficiency. It is a culture plus language
program emphasizing the importance of authentic cultural
and language experience.

Courses
Three
types of Chinese courses are offered:
(A)
2-week Chinese course (total: 36 hours)
(B)
4-week Chinese course (total: 54 hours)
(C)
8-week Chinese course (total: 72 hours)
Course
Level
The
courses are designed for those who have little basic
knowledge of Chinese language and ideograph.
Description
There
will be a series of intensive oral/aural training,
along with basic reading and writing practice. With
an eye to enhancing students・ understanding of Chinese
history, festivals, traditional medicine, martial
arts, and cultural heritage, we will arrange one or
two field trips every week.
