Brief introduction of dormitories (click the name of each building to see the pictures)

• Yun De Building (Dorm 1), Ju De Building (Dorm 1)

Each chamber is a four-person suite, sharing one set of lavatory/bathing facilities. Beds (excluding mattresses), desks, desk lights, bookshelves, chairs, wardrobes, drawers, and internal lines are available. Every boarding student has personal network point to enjoy around the clock free online service. Common room, laundry room, pay phone, and pantry room are available on all floors. The laundry room is equipped with washing machines and dryers.

• Chong De Building (Dorm 2), Yi De Building (Dorm 1)

Each chamber is for 2 or 3 people. Five chambers share one laundry room and four sets of lavatory/bathing facilities. Among which, one set has electric hot-water heater, offering hot water 24 hours a day. Beds (excluding mattresses), desks, desk lights, bookshelves, chairs, wardrobes, drawers, and internal extension lines are available in each chamber. All boarding students have personal network point to enjoy around the clock free online service.   Amenity room, laundry room, pay phone, and tea room are available in all floors. The laundry room has washing machines and dryers.

• Ming De Building (Dorm 3)

Each chamber is four-person suite. Beds (excluding mattresses), desks, desk lights, bookshelves, chairs, wardrobes, drawers, and internal extension lines are available in each chamber. All boarding students have personal network point to enjoy around the clock free online service. Amenity room, laundry room, pay phone, and tea room are available on all floors. The laundry room has washing machines and dryers. Pay phones, restaurants and convenience store are available on the first floor.

Fees

• Ju De Building and Yi De Building are for male students; the accommodation fee is NT$7,350 and NT$6,200 per semester.

• Yun De Building and Chong De Building are for female students; the fee is NT$6,400 and NT$6,200 per semester.

• In Ming De building, male and female students are allocated on different floors. The fee is NT$8,300  per semester.

• Accommodation in winter/summer breaks requires further application and expenses—NT$320 per week.

Application procedures and payment methods

Upon completion of formal enrollment, boarding students shall bring enrollment materials and student ID to apply for beds at Student Housing Section, Office of Students’ Affairs. After completion of application for beds, please bring the payment notice issued by the Student Housing Section to complete payments at the Cashier Section. Boarding students can then complete accommodation at dormitory supervisor.

Remarks

Boarding students shall prepare personal beddings and mattresses as well as washing utilities. All the dormitories at CGU are not co-ed. And cooking is prohibited in the rooms. 

Other regulations

Foreign students boarding with domestic students shall follow the same rules governing the latter.
