IAC
Center
for International Academic Cooperation (IAC), originally named
International Cooperation Center, was established in 2001.
With
the recognition of internationalization and glocolization, Chang Gung
University (CGU) is striving to establish academic ties with
prestigious universities all over the world. In order to reach the
goal, IAC takes on an active role in exploring potential academic
cooperation for students and faculty. We
assist the departments of the university to arrange academic exchange
programs, sister universities, visiting scholars or staff,
international visitors, joint conferences and co-researches. Our
primary duty is to prepare our students, staff, and faculty well for
a new era of global
village.
What
We Do?
Center
for International Academic Cooperation (IAC) is engaged in the
following areas of responsibility:
Establishing
Partnership Universities and Institutions
The
main goal of IAC is to establish partnerships with universities
overseas. CGU currently has partnerships with universities in the
United States, France, Hong Kong, China, Brazil, Japan, and UK, etc.
We hope to advance exchange faculty and students, which will allow
them to absorb in-depth knowledge and broaden their international
vision.
International
Academic Exchange Programs
IAC
encourages faculty and student exchange programs with the assistance
of colleges and departments and promotes sharing education and
research resources.
Organizing
International Conferences
IAC
assists the academic departments of the university in organizing
international events and conferences.
Reception
of international visitors
IAC
receives and hosts foreign scholars and visitors. We also provide
relevant assistance.
